We are pleased to announce that the St. Louis Regional Business Council has chosen ACFP as one of its grantees in this year’s “It’s Our Region Fund” grants!
ACFP received $4,000 to purchase new commercial-grade freezers and refrigerators, and solve our existing problem of lack of adequate, safe storage for food that we purchase or which is donated to us.
This grant funding will make a real difference for the ACFP. Currently, we have 1 refrigerator and 2 freezers that do not work properly, and, as such, are not usable for us. In addition to taking up space, they limit the amount of donated food we can take at any one time. With these new machines, we will be able to store more food safely, which will help our food budget and our client families.
