What happens to those kids over summer breaks… when suddenly they don’t have those 10 meals each week?
How do families who are struggling to feed their children manage the extra demand for food that comes with the long days of summer?
The ACFP is stepping in to help! We are providing “brown bags” for each school-aged child in our program. Each bag contains 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches (enough for 2 weeks!). Families are eligible to turn in their brown bags and receive a freshly filled bag every 2 weeks during the summer break.
YOU CAN HELP!!!! It costs us $50 to provide brown bags for 1 child for the entire summer (10 weeks). To sponsor a child, please click the LUNCHBOX to be taken directly to our secure website.
