Our New Director

The Affton Christian Food Pantry is pleased to announce the hiring of our first Executive Director, Kristina Paul. Kris is a graduate of Drake University and a student at Concordia Seminary where she is preparing for service within the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) as a deaconess. LCMS deaconesses are theologically trained women who are prepared to serve our Lord and His church through acts of mercy, spiritual care, and teaching of faith. Kris will be serving the ACFP as part of her deaconess internship, the final step in her preparation for ministry. Beginning in August 2009, Kris will spend about 10-15 hours a week at the pantry, focusing primarily on community relations and fund-raising/grant-writing.
